I freaking LOVE brownies! So I must try this recipe some time. I'm adding it to my list. :) by the way my cook book you got me rocks. I've made a couple of things already and everything has been delicious. :)
My family kids me about the fact I can't make a good brownie. They are right, and I don't know what it is, but they just don't turn out right. I will have to try this recipe and let you know how they turn out for me. thanks for sharing!
@ Jo: Yep, it's 1 and 1/4. I thought it was a lot too and had to double check. It's a very very very deep chocolately experience! And, to add to that, it calls for chocolate chips just before baking. They're crazy good!
Oh my, just from the fact that these start out by being heated in a saucepan, I can see why they would be so delicious! Those photos are mouth-watering. I'm definitely bookmarking this one -- always looking for "the best" brownie recipe! I will have to look for this King Arthur flour... where did you find it?
Oops - I forgot the slash between the 1 and 4. It's all fixed now. Thanks for the heads up.
ReplyDeleteGood grief. I so do not need these in my life, but I'm gonna make them anyway...

These do sound yummy and I will look for the King Arthur flour. But is it really 1 and 1/4 cups cocoa? That seems like a lot!?
