Oh, I love those things but I quit buying stuff with high fructose cs and the hydrogenated gunk! THANKS so much for the recipe. I can't wait to try it!
Oh, I need to try these! Oatmeal Creme Pies are such a temptation for me...so much so that I've refused to look at the label because I know it will turn me off! LOL
Mmmm...I'm a big fan of both yours and Jocelyn's recipes, and these Oatmeal creme pies are no exception. Little Debbie's weren't available in my area during my childhood years, but they definitely evoke sweet memories for my husband. I have a hunch he'd flip for these!!
Sarah, thank you so much for sharing your talent on "A Little Birdie Told Me..." Tuesday!
WOW! These are AMAZING!!! I know you mentioned that you added some extra spices to the original recipe, and I think that puts them in a class all by themselves. They are rich, and full of flavor and texture. Worth every calorie! Thank you!
These look great and I can't wait to make them! But I have a question (I hope it isn't a stupid one): In the ingredients list for the filling you have "Up to 3 cups 10x sugar" listed. What does the "10x" mean? Thanks!
I almost choked on the saliva that started running as I read this. These are AWESOME! Any clue on calories, how they compare?

I am so glad you had a chance to try these out. I think the butter cream filling sounds better than the one that I tried:-)
ReplyDeleteLooks great! I have a thing for the little debbie pies too! I may have to to make these soon to calm the preggo cravings induced by that picture!

These are great! Even when you unintentionally add chocolate malted milk to the frosting. Oops!
