Oh how I love garlic...my kids have no idea I put it in virtually everything...someday they'll wonder why they can't get their food to taste like mom's..he he
I've never tried roasting my own garlic. I think I'm a gourmet chef if I use the stuff from the refridgerated bottle, and not garlic salt.....so....this has definitely set forth a challenge for me. I'm going to try out this strategy soon! Thanks for sharing this tip. :O)
Your pictures are wonderful...I agree and it's making me hungry! I make an h'or doevre with roasted garlic that's always a hit. Roast 2 heads of garlic and bake up some chevre cheese covered in breadcrumbs. Serve w/ toasted slices of baguette and apples and pears. The garlic/cheese/fruit combo is amazing and it's good on the bread too.
I stopped by from NFF, I love garlic too. It's kind of an unhealthy obsession, I put it on almost anything I eat for dinner, every night, haha! Like you blog! Heather @ www.savingmoneylivinglife.com
Ooo, yum. This post is motivation to get some bread going for dinner tonight. :) My inlaws gave me a little electric garlic roaster a few years ago and it's the handiest little unitasker I have. :) Great pics and I love your blog! I'm here from New Friend Friday and am a follower now!
